Born on October 11, 1976 in the city of Los Angeles, Emily Deschanel has become a well-known personality in California. Her interest in acting was definitely piqued by her parents. Her father is a director of Academy Award nominee, Caleb Deschanel, and her mother is the actress, Mary Jo Deschanel. She attended the Boston University and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Theatre respectively. In 2010, she got married to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor David Hornsby in an exclusive ceremony in the Pacific Palisades. The celebrity couple welcomed their son Henry Lamar Hornsby on September 21, 2011, and on December 5, 2014 she revealed that she was expecting a second child.

She debuted in the film named ‘It Could it happen to You’ as an animal rights activist in the year 1994. In the year 2002, she appeared in the film Red Rose where her performance was spectacular. Since then she starred in many films and became famous for her roles in The Alamo, Glory Road and Cold Mountain as well, and Interview Magazine named her one of the actresses to watch. But the real fame and recognition for Emily Deschanel came in the year 2005 when she was cast for the role of Dr. Temperance Brennan in the police drama series named Bones. She has continued to deliver wonderfully on this role for the last 10 years starring alongside David Boreanaz. She was the show’s co-producer in its third season and became its producer halfway through the fourth season. Her role as Dr. Temperance earned her a Satellite Award and Teen Choice Award nominations both in the year 2006. And she does have a passion for animal welfare which she pursued in the narration of My Child is a Monkey and became the associate producer of How I Became an Elephant.
