Kristin Landen Davis is an American actress born on February 1965 in Boulder, Colorado. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and Keith Davis adopted her, after Dorothy her mother remarried to him. She was once dating Newsroom and Social Network Writer Aaron Sorkin. Kristin Davis has never been married; she adopted her daughter Gemma Rose in October 2011 as a single mother.

Davis went to A.C. Flora School in South Carolina and graduated in 1983. She proceeded to Rutgers University in New Jersey and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Acting from the university’s Mason Gross School of Arts.

From a young age, Kristin had always wanted to be an actress. She featured in a Workshop Theatre Production show titled “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at the age of nine. After graduating from University, Kristin moved to New York and opened a Yoga studio with a friend. In 1991, she played a role in episodes of the soap opera “The General Hospital”. Her acting got a booster in 1995 for playing the role of “Villainess Brooke Armstrong Campbell” in the show “Melrose Place”. She left the show after a single season after the show producers decided to kill off the character. Other favorite shows she featured on are “Seinfeld”, “Will and Grace” and “Friends”.

Kristin Davis played as Charlotte York in the drama series “Sex and the City”. She began acting in the series in 1998 and went on until the end of the show in 2004. The role of Charlotte York earned Kristin a nomination to the Emmy nomination Awards and “The Women in Film Lucy Award” together with other women actors in the show. Other shows she featured in were the “Soccer Mums” and “Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends.”

Kristin Davis has played different roles in several films. Included in the films are: “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D”, a Walt Disney show “The Shaggy Dog” and “Deck the Halls”. She hosted the VHI show “200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons” and was recently a judge in the program “Project Runway”. Kristin performed in a commercial “Head and Shoulder” shampoo.

Her appearance in the show “Sex and the City” earned her a partnership with Belk, a locally owned departmental store where the arrangement includes women clothes and other women accessories. On its opening, Kristin Davis alluded to her childhood in South Carolina as one of the major influences to her working with the Company.
