Kristin Kreuk is a Canadian actress was born on December 30, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her parents are Deanna Che from Chinese ancestry although born in Indonesia and Peter Kreuk, a Dutch descent. Her parents are landscape architects. Kristin Kreuk attended and graduated from Eric Hamber high School. Although sometimes she engaged herself in stage work, she concentrated on her education. Her career plans were either to study Psychology or Forensic Science at the Simon Fraser University. However, a call from CBC Television series “Edgemont” cast director changed all that; she is currently a full-time actress and producer.

Kristine Kreuk landed a lead role as Snow White in the movie “Snow White: The Fairest of Them All” just after filming of the first season of “Edgemont”; she also landed an agent in the process. The show aired on ABC TV in 2002. After the “Snow White”, her agent sent audition tapes to Alfred Gough and Miles Millar screenwriters for the WB Network Show called “Smallville.” She got an invitation for an audition in their studios in California and auditioned for the role of Lang Lang. She starred in both “Edgemont” and “Smallville” although her role in “Edgemont” diminished with time, and the show ended in 2005. Kreuk ran seven seasons with “Smallville” and left in 2008. She returned to the show in 2008 as a guest star to conclude her storyline. The show played a huge role in her success as an actor. Due to her involvement in the show, Kreuk landed several interviews with magazines including Rolling Stone and Young and Modern. She did a commercial for Neutrogena, a company that deals in skin care products.

Kreuk played the role of the unfaithful girlfriend in the 2004 “Euro Trip” comedy show. The following year, she signed a contract with Canadian Independent Film “Partition” Other films she played a role include “Dream Princess” “Street Fighter” and “The Legend Chun-Li. In 2009, Kreuk played the role of Hannah in the 3rd season of “Chuck” She was the lead female character in the show “Beauty and the Beast”. Other films she starred in are “Vampire”, “Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy” and the comedy “Space Milkshake.”

Together with Rosena Bhura, Kreuk started a production company “Parvati Creative Inc” The Company focuses on human-centric films as seen through the female eye. Kreuk featured in the first Parvati Creative Inc production short film called “Blink” another film produced by her company is “Queenie”. Kreuk currently resides in her hometown Vancouver; she also owns a home with her boyfriend in Los Angeles
