Walter Bruce Willis is a famous American actor who was born on the 19th of March in 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, Rhineland, which is based in West Germany. He is also a producer and a singer. Bruce Willis is the son of David Willis who was an American soldier and Mrs. Marlene K. He has 3 younger siblings, one sister, and two brothers. His sister is called Florence while his brothers was called David and Robert. Robert passed on in 2001 at the age of 42 after suffering from pancreatic cancer. Bruce’s father was discharged from the military in the year 1957 and forced the family to relocate back to Carneys Point in New Jersey. His mother used to work at the bank while his father used to weld in a factory. He attended Penns Grove High School where he was nicknamed Buck-Buck by his schoolmates. He was a member of the school drama and a president of the student council. He worked as a security guard at a nuclear plant in his hometown. Later on, he joined Montclair State University to pursue acting. He dropped out of school and served as a bartender.

In 1990s, Bruce Willis starred in a number of movies that were a flop and almost gave up on his acting career. He was featured in a movie titled Armageddon, which grossed the highest amount internationally in the year 1998. In the year 2000, He won an Emmy Outstanding Guest Actor for his role in a comedy series titled Friends. In 2007, he appeared as a villain and a soldier in a movie titled Planet Terror. In 2010, he appeared in a movie titled The Expendables where he played the role of Mr. Church.
