Holly Sue Cullen also known by her stage name Holly Madison was born on 23 December, 1979. She is an American model, television personality, and showgirl. She was born in the family of Patsy Cullen and Steve in Astoria, Oregon. She has a sister Stephanie and a brother Joseph. Because of her father working in the shipping industry, her family relocated to Island Ketchikan, Alaska. Later, her family relocated back to St. Helen, Oregon. Madison enrolled at Portland State University pursuing both theatre and psychology for two years. She later enrolled at Loyola Marymount University in 1999 after she moved to Los Angeles.
Madison began her career when she starred as `Miss Lady Bright Eyes’ in the 1998 American film, The Last Broadcast. In 2002, she appeared in a reality TV show, MTV Cribs for only one episode as herself. She was a subject of the Playboy Cyber Girl of the Week pictorial in 2003 on the magazine’s website. In November 2005, she appeared with Marquardt and Wilkinson on the cover and inside of the same magazine on the issue of Playboy as a special part pictorial promoting The Girl Next Door.
In 2007, Holly Madison featured nude in an advertisement of the PETA with a tagline “I would Rather Go Naked than Wear Fur”
After quitting The Girls Next Door in February of 2009, Madison was chosen on Dancing with the Stars to replace Jewel after the latter was forced to withdraw because of injuries sustained during practice. Robin Leach reported on March 26, 2009 that Madison, too, had incurred injuries while rehearsing and she had seen a doctor and was prescribed to treat severe rib pain. Holly was later voted off on the double elimination show on March 31, 2009.
In May 2009, Holly Madison led the largest bikini parade ever which broke the Guinness World Record.
Madison appeared in a topless burlesque show known as Peepshow at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. She was chosen to take the place of Kelly Monaco after Kelly three-month contract was over. She later left the show in 2012 due to pregnancy and “Coco Austin” replaced her as Bo peep.
Madison launched a pet product line known as the “Lucky Pet Products” in 2012. The line consisted of treats, accessories and toys. She donates a portion of her proceeds to her Las Vegas-based Charity, The Animal Foundation where she has adopted one of her ferrets called “Nancy” and one of her three rescue dogs called “Louis”.
In 2014, Madison opened the speakeasy called 1923 Bourbon and Burlesque situated at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Every Friday and Saturday, the 1923 host two burlesque shows.
