Leighton Marissa Meester is an American actress and singer who was born in 1986 to Constance and Douglas Meester in Forth Worth, Texas State in the United States.
It was unfortunate that when she was born her mother was serving a sentence in jail for participating in marijuana smuggling ring. Due to this she spent her early life with the grandparents in Marco Island, Florida.
At Florida, she was involved with local playhouse and first appeared on stage in “The Wizard of Oz” production. She is fluent both in English and French. Meester attended Beverly Hills School located in the Beverly Hills in California.
