Peyton List was born on the 8th of August, 1998. She is an American model and actress who was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her father is known as Douglas List while her mother is known as Sherri Anderson. Together with her sister Brittany List, Peyton grew up in Maryland, a place known as Baltimore. While only 8, Peyton started off her modeling career. The first significant modeling role that she played was in Washington Square as “daughters next door”. She was featured together with her sister. She then went to school of American Ballet in which she studied ballet.
In 2000, Peyton earned herself a minor character in Sex and the City, a television series from HBO. A year afterwards, she was given a small role to play in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. She was cast in one episode of the series. Taking up the role of Lucy Montgomery, Peyton was given a 3 year role in As the World Turns, a CBS soap opera. In 2005 however, she left the role. She went ahead and became a member of the cast of Smallville. In the series, she was cast as Lucy Lane. She retook the same role in the final season of the series in 2010. In the same year, she appeared in quite a number of shows. She was given guest roles in One Tree Hill, CSI:NY and Without a Trace as well.
In the year 2006, Peyton was given a regular role in Windfall, an NBC drama series. She played the recurring role of Tally Reida. The series showed for only one season before it was discontinued. She was afterwards featured in ABC’s Day Break, a short lived drama. In 2007, she was a member of the cast of the pilot season of ABC’s Big Shots. In the series, Peyton was given the role of depicting Dylan McDermott’s character’s daughter Cameron Collinsworth. The series too was discontinued after only one season of showing.
A number of TV shows have also featured Peyton List as a guest star. Some of these shows are Ghost Whisperer, Moonlight, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, House of Lies, Hawaii Five-0 and Monk as well. Mad Men, a critically acclaimed series of AMC had a role for List. She was given the recurring character of portraying a fill-in secretary of Don Draper. Her character later became the 2nd wife of Roger Sterling.
Peyton was cast in yet another series of ABC. Taking up the role of Niccole Kirby, Peyton was a member of the cast of Flash Forward.
