Nicki Minaj was born to Mr. Robert Moraj and Carol Moraj on December 8, 1982, in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago. She began her school at PS 45 and Elizabeth Blackwell middle school 210. She then joined Laguardia High school in Manhattan where she studied acting. After graduating Minaj tried her first acting in 2001 with off-Broadway play ‘In case you forgot’ but the film did not do well and then she decided to look for a job which she got at Red Lobster as a waitress. By this time, Minaj had captured the masses and the media through her first and second songs. Her third release received more coverage from the media houses including MTV. Minaj was nominated on December 5, 2014 as the best Rap song for ‘Anaconda’ and the best Pop Dual/Group performance.
